Nearshore fishing, we are catching Black Sea Bass and Dog Sharks with some Spanish Mackerel starting to show up. Offshore Deep Sea Fishing Bottom fishing the bigger black sea bass are biting alone with vermillion snapper, triggerfish, grunt, porgies, sliver snapper, pinkies, amber jack, cobia and king mackerel. Gulf Stream fishing is HOT right now. Good numbers for Wahoo being caught along with mahi mahi and black fin tuna.
On out our half day inshore fishing that takes place in the Intracoastal waterway and backwater creeks this is fishing in the clam waters. We are fishing light tackle Penn reels and rods that makes for some fun fighting of fish. Kind of like fishing in lake for bass and strippers but these fish are on steroids. This fish put up a good fight and take the line off the reels at a good speed. We are catching redfish aka “red drum”, speckled sea trout, black drum and flounder right now on this fishing trip. We recommend the four-hour inshore charter for a child friendly fishing charter. The five-hour fishing charter the more serious who is looking to catch more fish and change to get out along our jetties and ocean to catch some bigger fish too.
Nearshore half day fishing charter out to eight miles the smaller black sea and dog sharks are bite. There are a few Spanish mackerel stating to show up too. Most of the black sea bass on this trip are going to be too small to keep as the bigger black sea are still out in deeper water. The dog sharks are biting in good numbers and are good to eat. This are fun to catch as they fight very good. This makes for a good child friendly fishing trip.
