Winter Inshore Fishing
Winter fishing along the Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach coastline can be very productive on the right days. Here’s what we are targeting this season:
-
Redfish (Red Drum): Holding along marsh edges, oyster beds, creek mouths, and deeper holes, especially during moving tides.
-
Speckled Sea Trout: Found in deeper creeks, channels, and bends where water temperatures stay more stable. Slower presentations are key.
-
Black Drum: Common around docks, pilings, and muddy-bottom areas, particularly near current breaks.
-
Sheepshead: Targeted around structure such as pilings, docks, bridges, and rock, feeding heavily during the winter months.
If you are planning a visit and want recommendations on the best trip based on tides, weather, and seasonal patterns, feel free to reach out.
Thank you again for fishing with us in 2025. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to getting you back on the water.
Tight lines,
Captain Keith Logan
