The fall/winter inshore fishing is at full speed and now is the time to get in on the angling action. With the middle fall/winter and sunny days and temps in the 60s and 70s have kept the redfish, speckled trout and black drum hitting hard.
The redfish bite in the Intracoastal Waterway has been awesome. They are starting to school up in small school. There have been days we have had 20 redfish come out of one school. When we can get live shrimp the speckled trout bite has been of the chain too. We are using a lot of gulp bait this time of year on jigs.
The king mackerel fishing is going strong in the 30 miles range. You will need to do a full day charter to be able to get them this time of year. We are catching around 20 kings in a full day charters.
Gulf Stream fishing is starting to heat up too. The bigger wahoo in the 60 plus lbs range are here and the 80 to 100 lbs are not far away. Blackfin tuna are in good numbers too. We have caught a few sailfish in the last week too.
